THE STILLNESS CODE

Invitation Only

The Stillness Code Practicum

The Seven Codes, practised rather than merely understood.

Private study, guided practice

The Practicum is where the Seven Codes stop being ideas. A founding cohort moves through the curriculum in order — one chamber at a time, each opened by the practice of the one before it. Entry is by invitation. There is no public enrolment.

The Curriculum

Nine movements, one architecture

  1. Orientation

    The Vacated Throne

Why the seat stands empty, and what it means to return to it.

  2. Code One

    Silence

Establishing the daily withdrawal in which the chamber can exist.

  3. Code Two

    Assumption

Choosing, and answering to, a deliberate name.

  4. Code Three

    Imagination

Bringing the inner workshop under jurisdiction.

  5. Code Four

    Speech

Learning to treat words as decrees rather than descriptions.

  6. Code Five

    Order

Building an architecture strong enough to survive Thursday.

  7. Code Six

    Power

Becoming what the room can no longer make you do.

  8. Code Seven

    Surrender

Opening the hand so the crown can be received, not seized.

  9. Integration

    The Governed Life

The codes joined into one continuous government of the inner life.
